University of Louisville Health is expanding its operations with a new seven-story tower. An additional 360 beds, 20 operating rooms, lobby, and waiting area have all been created through this expansion. University of Louisville hospital serves a significant portion of Kentucky’s population, being only one of two Level 1 adult trauma centers in the entire state. This expansion increases the hospital’s efficiency and operating capacity so it can serve more patients each year.
